In 2020, Google and EA confirmed that the publisher would bring some of its biggest titles to Stadia, including Jedi: Fallen Order, FIFA, and Madden Coins. After a heartbreaking wait, the day is finally here: Madden NFL 21 will be launched on Stadia this Thursday.

In a press release released this morning, EA released the news that Madden 21 will debut on Google Stadia on Thursday, January 28. The game will launch along with a free weekend available for all platforms between January 28 and January 31.
When it debuts, Madden NFL 21 coins will be the first game on Google's platform developed with the Frostbite engine. At the end of the free weekend, EA will also sell Madden NFL 21: Superstar Edition at a 60% discount until February 8 on Stadia and other platforms. This will reduce the cost of the game to about 30 euros, a really great discount.
Fans can continue to play their 2021 Pro Bowl with official rosters in Madden NFL 21. Additionally, from January 28-31, you can experience the full Madden NFL 21 experience for free on all platforms, including Stadia, Google's gaming platform that allows players to play their favorite video games immediately on screens they already own. EA is launching Madden NFL 21 on Stadia this Thursday, making it the first game developed on the Frostbite engine released on the platform. Madden NFL 21 on Stadia will reach more players, adding to the list of platforms where the game is available. At the end of the free trial, the game will continue to be available on Stadia for those who purchase it, and Madden NFL 21: Superstar Edition will be discounted by 60% on all platforms until February 8.
With this announcement, EA still does not reveal when FIFA will arrive on Stadia, as well as what are the other two titles promised by the company. However, we are very happy to finally see this game arrive on the streaming platform, even if it comes just as the NFL season is coming to an end.
